Cornelia Savescu is a panel paintings conservator. She has a degree in Monumental Art and Restoration (1984) from the Fine Arts Institute “Nicolae Grigorescu”. She specialized in the conservation of panel paintings (1985-1988) at the Centre of Professional Training in Culture (CPPE) of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She worked as a conservator at the National Art Museum in Bucharest (1984-1987) and was a lecturer at the National Art University, Conservation-Restoration Department.
