Rui Bordalo is a conservator-restorer specialised in easel paintings. He currently teaches several disciplines of the conservation course at Portucalense University. He is a board member of the Portuguese Association of Conservator-Restorers (ARP) and a Committee member of the European Confederation of Conservator-Restorers' Organisations (E.C.C.O.) since 2005. He is also one of the founders of e-conservation magazine, where he is currently the editor-in-chief.
