I would really like for all to use the engish language for this site. We should all understand that english is not a 'national' language, but a mean of comunication for this site. Therefore spanish, german etc. (beautifull languages!) give it a chance, I could also speak four languages, but this is not an ethnic thing ( xxx language required would fit fine for job adverts).

Just shearing this thought,

best regards

Hello and welcome to the forum, it’s nice to have interesting new topics.

Principally I agree to what you say. As a matter of fact we have chosen English as working language for the magazine as it is the international vehicular language now. However, we accept articles in several languages other than English as after all it's the principal expression of identity and if authors prefer to keep their native language, they should be allowed.
Concerning the forum posts, we should consider that there are people that simply don’t speak English and thus, if they need to post in other language they can do it. However, since this is a forum in English the chances to receive an answer or to share ideas in other language are limited. I think also it won’t be a very frequent situation.
But there are also cases when one could speak English but doesn’t feel comfortable to do so... that's why I think here on the forum we should encourage everyone to use it, as spelling or grammar mistakes are allowed. Of course, from respect to our Anglophone colleagues, we could all try using browser spell checkers and take it as an exercise to practice our English…
