My name is Andrey Chulin – restorer/conservator of The Department of Scientific Restoration and Conservation, The State Hermitage Museum ( St.Petersburg, Russian Federation).
My basic activity: restoration and conservation of objects of decorative metal artwork and archaeological materials.
I will be glad to have contacts for discussion and cooperation with colleagues in the field of restoration and conservation of a cultural and historical heritage.

Hello and Welcome!

It’s a pleasure to have someone from the Hermitage in the forum.
I remember one or two years ago I went to the Hermitage and visited one of the workshops of conservation although I believe it wasn’t the Department of Scientific Restoration and Conservation. I really enjoyed the visit.
I hope your presence here will bring a fruitful discussion.
